Switch: Activating the X400V is done via an intuitive, either-handed switch on the rear of the body. Simply press the switch to flip it up or down for continuous activation.
A separate switch on the rear of the X400V allows you to (1) activate the white light illumination only, (2) activate the white light illumination simultaneously with the laser sight, (3) activate the laser sight only, or (4) deactivate the entire X400V.
Switching back and forth from white to infrared output is done with a push/turn action on the head of the X400V.
