The new pouch has an impressive, modern look with large side cutouts around the tension wheel. The smaller wheel not only makes it easier to rotate, but also allows for easy attachment of a large magnet to the outside of the pouch body.
The main advancement in the Alpha xi design is the way the belt hanger ball joint attaches to the pouch body. The dovetail solution on the Alpha xi was sometimes a weak point, such as when the bag is hit hard or when catching a magazine on a barricade or table edge. In the new Alpha xi design, the ball joint is attached using a custom-made wide-head screw that fits into the aluminum sidewall of the pouch, making it extremely durable and strong.
The Alpha xi pouch body offers eight attachment points to choose from. There are three height positions for right-handed or left-handed shooters, and two height options for bullet mounting. Combined with custom wide-head screws, key seat engagement is used to prevent movement, slippage, or vulnerability.
